Master Ace, founder of KRU Muay Thai, shared his unique perspective on Muay Thai, MMA, and the future of our ever-growing sport in an interview with SHOSEN.
SHOSEN: How did you get involved in martial arts?
ACE RAMIREZ: June marks my 30th anniversary in martial arts. I was the typical short, weakly kid, and I was picked on. I loved Kung Fu films back in the day. For a while, I staved off attacks by pretending to know martial arts. Then I stopped growing and couldn’t fake it any more. I thought I should learn martial arts.
