-new month,new goal,new destiny-
With the school year inching closer and closer to the summer, I've been really excited. Yet, I've also been really stressed. I'm constantly juggling schoolwork - projects, daily homework, etc. - alongside competition team business, preparing the team for competitions, preparing myself for competitions, chores (I have a pile of clothes I have to fold in my room since Monday :3)...I still have my injuries, insomnia, allergies due to this stinking weather. I feel like my body is just so blown out....AND I'M ONLY 15!!! oy...
I've set a bedtime to myself. 1.Because I can't deal with being dead in school and training... 2.Because lack of sleep is just making me more vulnerable to sicknesses and injuries... So, I'll be in bed by 11:30 every night. I PROMISE.
My schooling is fine. Although I ended last trimester with all As and 1 B-, this trimester isn't coming on with a great start. I had a couple of quizzes in each class (and its only 2 weeks in the tri) and in most of my classes, I have a B average. I have made it my goal to finish the school year with all As, and I will study my butt off.
This month my personal goal is to just simply manage my time and set my priorities. With the school year closing to an end, the work load has been so rushed and crazy. I'm UBER excited for the summer because last summer my routine was: wake up at 2PM, do chores and eat, hang out with best friends Dustin, Kyle & Zach, coach classes from 4-about 7, take classes, go home and eat dinner, computer till 11PM, sleep, then repeat the next day. I really want to just let go this summer and have a chance to relax but at the same time, dedicate this summer to training, considering the limit on my training during the school year.
Last but not least, my diet. I was really strict with my diet for last competition season and I want to bring that back. Eating whenever I feel like, skipping meals, putting loads of worthless garbage in my body isn't really working for me. So, I will focus on protein, fruits & veggies, grains, dairy, and limit myself from soda and junk food.
Yes, all this is coming from a 15 year old freshman at Bergen County Academies..

Comment by Alaia Masuda on May 3, 2012 at 11:54pm -bedtime: at times i'd sleep at 11 sometimes at 12...but it depends on how much energy i exerted during the day and if i'm worn out...it's better than all-nighters or running on 3 hours of sleep :P
-grades: my grades are pretty great...i'm at my highest grade in Chem,EVER...all my grades are above an A- (except Algebra because i messed up on one quiz :P)
-diet: i'm beginning to go back to my diet...it's hard since i've been letting myself eat whatever, therefore making me more vulnerable...but it's all good :)
-stress: work in progress..
